This month, October 2015, marks a special anniversary for the Stone Frigate Big Band. It was in this month, 20 years ago, that a handful of players first got together to play big band swing for the love of the music. The group quickly attracted others of like mind and, though a few players have come and gone, the Band has developed a unique style in its effort to present the music of the swing era the way it was intended.
